                         UPDATE ON DENIM DAY 2008

Denim Day 2008, which was held on April 3rd this year, was a success and Rape Response Services would like to take this opportunity to thank all the participants in this event.

For everyone that is not familia with this event, it is held yearly, since 1992, to support proactive prevention and education efforts to prevent sexual violence. For more information about this event, check it out here: Denim Day 2008 and Denim Day Flyer

We would like to encourage businesses, organizations, offices, etc. to allow your employees to voluntarily participate in a dress-down day to benefit Rape Response Services, the nonprofit sexual assault center that serves Penobscot and Piscataquis counties.  This event can be organized and celebrated at any time during the year in support of proactive prevention and education efforts to prevent sexual violence.
